The Basics - Info you need to know for the test!
General Equation: y = mx + b
Slope =
OR
Intercepts ... the point where our line crosses
the x and/or y axis.
** In slope/intercept format, the y-intercept is "b"
** x-intercept = we need to do some work. In your equation, substitute the value zero for the y variable then solve for x. (sounds easy???)
